As an avid comic fan, I was pleased to see the announcement of graphic novels to the New York Times Bestseller list this morning. They’ve compiled the lists into three categories: hardcover, softcover and Manga. Catch the lists and then check out available copies of Watchmen by Alan Moore–which stands at #3 in hardcover and #1 in softcover this week–over at Biblio! The only problem I found was in the first line of the article–contrary to Mr. Gustines’ opinion, graphic novels hit the mainstream earlier this decade with the flurry of comics-into-film releases. We should have seen these lists on the NYT pages a long time ago.
