Biblio.com is offering a full-ride scholarship to one Lucky Bibliophile to the 2009 Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar ($1195) and free listing fees for one year and a donation of $500 to the winner’s literacy charity of choice.

As mentioned in a previous post, now is a great time to be a bookseller, so be sure to make the most of this opportunity to hone the edges of your bone folder (and knowledge), whether you’re a long-time professional book dealer, or just getting started in the trade.

True to Biblio’s mission of promoting social responsible business, the winning bookseller will be the person who submits the most compelling essay on “how their book selling business creates a positive impact in their community or the world. This may be interpreted broadly, such as work in encouraging literacy, efforts to recycle, etc.”
